250% More Clients: Building a B2B Outreach Engine With n8n and AI

The ceiling on manual outreach

What we built with n8n

The AI automation system runs on n8n with custom AI nodes and web scraping integrations. The workflow:

  • Prospect identification: Automated web scraping identifies companies matching the ideal customer profile — industry, size, tech stack signals, recent funding or hiring activity.
  • Data enrichment: For each prospect, the system pulls LinkedIn data, recent news, and company-specific context that makes personalization possible.
  • AI-personalized email generation: A prompt engineering layer uses the enriched data to write emails that reference specific, verifiable details about each prospect. Not mail-merge templates — actual personalization.
  • Sequence automation: The system manages follow-up timing, removes responders from sequences, and routes positive replies to a human sales rep immediately.

Three months of results

In the first 90 days, the agency grew its active client base by 250%. Response rates were 3.2× higher than the previous manual outreach, specifically because of the personalization quality.

The system sends up to 1,000 personalized emails per day — a 10× increase over the team's manual capacity — with deliverability maintained above 95% through proper warm-up, domain rotation, and sending pattern management.

The difference between this and a standard email tool is the intelligence layer. The personalization isn't cosmetic — it references real, specific information that shows the prospect they've been researched, not blasted.
